Canucks mural as math activity

To show our support for the Canucks (and as a math enrichment activity) we did a large mosaic poster of Roberto Luongo which we submitted to our “Focus on Youth” festival.  What will the kids remember about grade 5?  I bet it’s that poster, and the time they had to create something really meaningful. It’s hard to see from the photo, but it’s actually 100 x 150 cm, created from 20 individually painted panels assembled after they were finished.  Great fun , now proudly displayed in the front hall of our school.  Go Canucks!
